Santa Monica, a Lifelong Learning Community

This monthly newsletter is part of my personal effort to bring our community together around the issue of supporting lifelong learning and creating a model lifelong learning community.
It's been ten years since we began conceiving of Santa Monica as a Lifelong Learning Community. Please see for the community's Vision Statement and for my 1997 Call to Action. And we've come a long way. (We also have a long way yet to go but I'll send you my thoughts on that in a future email.)
